Public organizations and institues

Upper Norrland, Norrbotten and Västerbotten, is Sweden’s northernmost region and has the largest land area and lowest population density in the country. Rapid economic growth, valuable natural resources and low unemployment rate identify the region but the challenges are many - a high shrinking of workforce, elderly population, increased cost structure combined with decreased tax base.
